A bit of Seals' trivia: All 4 major moves Shanon and I have made in our marriage have been to places who are, at that time, in a drought. All have been "removed" from drought status within one year of us moving there. So, if you are in a drought, pray that we get to move to your town! If you are in danger of flooding, pray we don't.
Our last two moves, have also had tragic results. Within three months of the move a very close friend of our has had a major motorcycle accident. So, if you ride and motorcycle, and hear that we are moving, park it for a while! And, pray for Troy and Robert as they will live with the effects of those accidents for the rest of their lives.
Talon has made an important scientific discovery. We thought that there were no more pirates in "this world" (Talon's words). So, since recent news has been about real pirates, then, there must still be dinosaurs in "this world" also. "Only God really knows". How can a mom argue with that? I pray that he will always use his creative thinking! Oh, "this world" is the term Talon uses for any type of location, our neighborhood, the city, state or the world.
Talon told me this morning that when a fire alarm is going off, you should wait until it stops to go outside. Once it stops, then you go outside. I tried to correct him, but he was adamant. Finally, he said "I know this is right because on Caillou they said that when the fire alarm goes off, you go outside as quick as you can. So, you have to wait until it goes off." Sometimes it takes a child to point out to us how complicated the English language is! And, yes, I did explain it to him. Let's pray that we never have the opportunity to find out if Talon listened!

Easter Seals
We had our first Easter in Alabama. Here are my guys in thier Easter duds. Getting them both to look at the camera, at the same time, was next to impossible!

The boys enjoyed hunting eggs in our yard.

April Fool
Talon has been asking about April Fool's Day. So, being a responsible mom, I taught him.

Our supper is really ice cream, covered in cocoa with whipped cream "sour cream" and sugar "butter". Talon didn't really get it at first. He kept asking "What is this?" Shanon was the hard sell. He was really disappointed that he didn't get a real baked potato.
